Grieg Logistics has entered into a long term contract for tug services in Norwegian waters with tug operators Boa Shipping and Stadt Sjøtransport, and RG Hagland acting as broker. The contract framework will lead to improved tug availability in North Norway and improved competitiveness in Norwegian waters.

Grieg Logistics is a terminal and ship service provider, and the contracts will cover the company’s tug requirements for regular port calls in North Norway and the West Coast, but also available for naval ships, merchant shipping and offshore rigs. Boa will have their main operation out of Narvik and Stadt in Sognefjorden. The tugs offered are modern terminal tugs with bollard pull between 38 and 65 tonnes and with fire fighting capacities and oil recovery solutions available.

In its capacity as broker, RG Hagland has assisted Grieg Logistics in the entire tender process.
