Østensjø Rederi awarded tugboat operation contract at Sture

Østensjø Rederi has been awarded the tugboat at Sture terminal for Statoil ASA. The contract includes three tugboats and two mooring boats.

Startup of the contract at Sture is set to December 2016. The duration of the contract is eight years with seven optional years.

Østensjø Rederi AS has delivered tug services to the Sture terminal since it opened. This award confirms that the company will continue this delivery by providing three existing tugs and build two new mooring launches with bollard pull 5 tonnes.

RG Hagland’s offshore department has been acting as broker during the entire tender process.
